The South will see multiple days of severe weather this week with the threat of flooding on Monday and Tuesday, multi-day fire weather potential over the central US, snow in the West on Tuesday. The 3-day forecast.

South to see multi-day threat of severe weather and flooding

The South will be under the threat of severe weather through at least midweek, potentially longer, as the thunderstorms develop over the south-central US on Monday and move eastward through midweek.

Monday will see thunderstorms and the risk of flash flooding over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

On Tuesday, the severe weather and flash flooding threat moved east over Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

On Wednesday, the threat of flash flooding diminishes in the forecast. However, the severe weather will stretch from Louisiana to Florida to the Carolinas and northward into Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia.
